5 tips to completely remove your makeup

I’m constantly in front of the camera and as much as I focus on having natural and dewy skin, I also have to rely on certain products to make sure my face is clear and camera ready for shoot days! But as important as it is to look camera ready, it’s also important for me to make sure that I remove all of that gunk off my face before I go to to sleep at night! That’s why I have such an extensive night routine, as you guys might see sometimes on my Snapchat (@chrisellelim). From my posts on DIY Face Masks to using natural oils, I love to show you guys how to have natural and healthy skin, but that all starts with removing your makeup properly!

Here are my top five essential products to properly & completely remove your makeup!
1. Makeup Removal Balm

On the discussion of Korean beauty products, this makeup removal balm is one of my secret weapons. All I have to do is massage it all over my face and rinse with a bit water to remove my makeup. It’s super easy and super gentle on my skin, and it smells like cherry blossoms! It removes make up, sun screen, dirt, excess sweat and oil, all while leaving my skin feel smooth and hydrated.

2. Oil Based Cleanser

One of the biggest things for me is that I rely on oils to remove my makeup. It’s not enough to just have a cleanser because only an oil based cleanser can completely and thoroughly remove your all makeup. I love this product because it has hints of lavender oil for calmness and the coconut oil is great for gently removing makeup while hydrating my skin!
